Photos of Ocean Levels - Caribbean Sea in Martinique

Rising Sea Levels

Aside from the lack of shade, the particularity of Anse Meunier is the narrowness of its beach!

Indeed, over a large part, it is only 3-4 meters wide at low tide, and dwindles to almost nothing at high tide!

It goes without saying that here too, the phenomenon of rising sea levels must have something to do with it; as evidenced by the remains of this tree, dead from having had its feet in salty water too often.
