Rum vat - old rum production

There are three main types of rum.

Agricultural white rum spends 3 months in wooden vats before being bottled.

Ambre agricultural rum, more colored, "matures" for 18 months, including some time in oak vats.

Finally, old agricultural rum must spend a minimum of 3 years in oak barrels to qualify for the "Old Rum" designation!
